Once upon a time there was a guy from Georgia who loved Rush, D&D and played drums. He moved to Dallas, Texas in search of "the one". Unbeknownst to him there was a girl born and raised in Dallas who loved jazz, Magnum P.I. and sang songs. They met and fell in love only AFTER the guy swore he’d rather gnaw his right arm off than marry the girl. Now inseparable by marriage, identifying story telling and music as the same in their Venn diagrams, they decided to start a band. Their first band names (funny tales for another post) made way for what is now - The Ascenders.
